It’s often said that it’s never too late to find true love and this saying is true for popular Nigerian activist and Founder of the Consumer Advocacy Foundation of Nigeria, Sola Salako who just tied the knots with the love of her life, Femi Ajulo.
Sola, who turns 51 in November took to her Facebook page to announce her new status sharing a picture of her looking out a window in reflection with the simple caption, “Mrs Sola Salako-Ajulo”.
The marriage is a dream come true for Sola who had a few years ago, revealed in an interview with Punch that she never dreamt that she would still be unmarried at her age. “I never thought that I would be unmarried at 43. It would happen when it would happen. I am not worried though, which is what worries a lot of people. I am not needy, so maybe that is a problem. I would like to get married, but I still haven’t met the right person, who likes me enough to want to marry me and vice versa,” she said.
Her friends and family have been flooding her Facebook page with congratulatory messages.
