Breast Cancer Survivor, Ericka Hart Is Topless & Proud In New Cosmo Editorial

Ericka Hart was diagnosed with Bilateral Breast Cancer in 2014 and had to undergo a double mastectomy. Now, the queer activist is embracing her scars and proudly showing them off every chance she gets.

According to her, her “topless activism” serves to “push up against these social constructed normatives about gender that people with bodies like [mine] are supposed to be clothed and covered and modest.”

She goes on to say that her form of activism is not just “to show my breast cancer scars, it’s also to place myself in a narrative where I’m oftentimes erased,”

Ericka is constantly posting her topless photos on her Instagram. See a few of them below.
