Davido’s Okunoren Jacket For His O2 Concert Pays Tribute To “The Divine Feminine”

Davido‘s outing at The O2 last night was a monumental success. About 20,000 people turned out to see the singer perform at the venue which has hosted a lot of other greats like Beyonce, Drake and more.

For the show which he describes as the greatest show of his career, the 26-year-old singer made sure his style game was top notch. A standout outfit from the couple he changed into was a hand-beaded Okunoren bumper jacket which wasn’t only gorgeous to look at but also had a really deep meaning.

According to the designer, the stunning piece christened “The Iyami Eleye jacket” is from the brand’s yet to be released collection tagged “Divinity To Form” and was designed to pay tribute to the divine feminine.

Davido has been on a crusade to promote women lately, with his recent hit, ‘Wonder Woman‘ shining light on women making their mark in their different fields. And whether wearing this jacket was intentional or not, it is definitely a move that gets our seal of approval!
