The wife of the eldest son of the United States, Venessa Trump has filed divorce papers in Manhattan Supreme Court after 12 years of marriage and 5 kids.
DailyMail‘s source revealed Vanessa listed the divorce as uncontested, meaning that she is not asking for full custody of the children at this time and that Donald Jr does not object to the filing.
In a joint statement, Venessa and her husband Donald Trump Jr. told Page Six, “After 12 years of marriage, we have decided to go our separate ways.We will always have tremendous respect for each other and our families. We have five beautiful children together and they remain our top priority. We ask for your privacy during this time.”
Sources connected to the family told TMZ the divorce has been a long time coming, and the relationship has been “bad for a while.” Among the issues, Vanessa “hates politics and Don Jr. is gone all the time.”
NY Post also reported that Vanessa’s been upset about some of his controversial tweets, most of which defend President Trump and his policies.
It was also reported that Vanessa got a major scare just last month when she received an envelope with white powder, and a hate letter for Don Jr. that read, in part, “You the family idiot. This is the reason why people hate you. You are getting what you deserve.” The powder turned out to be corn starch, and the sender was eventually arrested.
