Coloured weaves and hair extensions are all the rave now, blond weaves, grey weaves, bright red weaves, blue weaves, and on goes the list.

But along with “being ‘on fleek’ comes great responsibility”, in this case, caring for your coloured weaves is a great responsibility that if not properly taken care of, will leave them ruined.

So we’re going to share some tips on how to care for your dyed/coloured hair extensions, because *in Chigul’s voice* “we don’t want them to be a weist”.

• Wash with Lukewarm or cold water, never use hot water, or your colour will be lost.

• Use shampoos and conditioners that are specially  made to to treat coloured hair i.e colour safe shampoos and conditioners.

• Lastly, when buying coloured weaves, or buying weaves for dying, make sure you buy original virgin hair because as you know ‘Darling Yakki’ won’t work.
