Idris Elba Is The Sexiest Man Alive In 2018, According To People Magazine

I mean, we all love us some Idris Elba. He’s zaddy AF! But is he the sexiest man alive today? Well, People Magazine thinks so.

The magazine just released their annual “sexiest man alive” issue, and it has none other than the 46-year-old hunk on the cover.

The revelation was made on Jimmy Fallon’s ‘The Tonight Show’ where the father of two told Fallon that he’s “really happy with that one. My mum is going to be very, very proud.”

Speaking to the magazine on his reaction the first time he heard the news, Idris said, “I was like, ‘Come on, no way. Really? Looked in the mirror, I checked myself out. I was like, ‘Yeah, you are kind of sexy today.’ But to be honest, it was just a nice feeling. It was a nice surprise — an ego boost for sure.”

Idris is the 33rd man to receive the much celebrated honour from People’s Magazine. Other people who have received the title in the past include Blake Shelton, Denzel Washington, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, among others.
