According to TMZ, the heartbroken father of late designer Kate Spade, has passed away just a day before her funeral.

The designer who committed suicide by hanging in her Manhattan, New York home, was to be buried on Thursday, June 21. But her 89 year old father, Earl F. Brosnahan passed away on Wednesday in his home after several years of suffering from ill health.
