Kylie Jenner Has Officially Become The Youngest Billionaire In The World

Last year, Forbes estimated that 21-year-old Kylie Jenner was on track to becoming the youngest self-made billionaire in the world. Fast forward to this year, and the estimate has become a reality.

The reality star and businesswoman is said to be worth a whooping one billion dollar, a huge chunk of which she made from her incredibly successful makeup line, Kylie Cosmetics.

Kylie Cosmetics which was inspired by the reality star’s insecurities with her lips had started off as a lipkit business but quickly blossomed to accommodate other makeup products including eyeshadows and foundation.

Following an expansion from a strictly online business to an exclusive partnership with beauty retail chain, Ulta last year, the brand’s revenue climbed up by 9% to an estimated $360 million with Forbes positing that the company which is owned 100% by Kylie is worth at least 900,000 dollars.

Her KUWTK paycheque as well as the tons of other businesses and endorsements she has come together to make her total net worth an estimated one billion dollar.

The news was met with excitement by her supermodel sister, Kendall who reacted by tweeting “Holly Molly”.
