If you’ve been following Lala Akindoju’s trajectory of late, her show-stopping look to the AFRIFF opening gala won’t come as a surprise, as her red carpet M.O. is always refreshingly unexpected and modern.

The ‘NAKED’ actress was a sleek and supreme chic in a striking black dress by Zhena Woman. The diamante and origami detailing on the bodice, as well as the tulle detailing on the sleeves and hips, could have been a tricky proportion to pull off, but she did so with aplomb.

A cute pixie cut, crystal earrings, and black strappy sandals completed her unforgettable look.
