#LFDW2017: Street Style Looks From Day 1

Besides the runway shows, street style is the most important thing about Fashion Week – some people will even argue that it is more important than the shows itself.

It is that time of the year when people can wear the most exuberant outfits without necessarily getting judged for it.

And as the 2017 edition of Lagos Fashion & Design Week kicked off yesterday the fashion kids came out to play in their best definition of street style.

Denim (which is like the official street style uniform), berets, statement sunglasses, customised jackets, white sneakers and of course, Ankara were regular sightings at yesterday’s event.
