Major!!! Nigerian Model, Mayowa Nicholas Just Got Selected To Walk In The 2017 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

We saw this coming but it’s incredibly exciting nonetheless.

Mayowa Nicholas just got selected to walk in the 2017 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show taking place in December.

This would make the 19-year-old model who was scouted in Lagos back in 2014, the second Nigerian since Oluchi Onweagba to walk the highly revered VSFS Runway.

She took to her Instagram Story to share the emotional moment she was confirmed at the casting in New York writing, “No words. I’m so grateful. VS 2017. God is so good.”

I can’t believe I am typing this right now I am so happy to announce that I will be walking the Victoria secret fashion show 2017 , this is a huge dream come true. Walking the Victoria’s Secret show is considered one of the highest points of every model’s career and year after year, young models from all over the world struggle to get in.

Mayowa’s career has continued to snowball since winning the Elite Model Look Nigeria in 2014. She has featured in campaigns for brands like DKNY, H&M, Net-a-Porter and walked for  fashion giants including Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, Alexandre Vauthier, Chanel, Miu Miu, Balmain and Moschino among others.
