Media Mogul Mo Abudu Awarded Honorary Degree By University Of Westminster

Nigerian media mogul and philanthropist Mo Abudu, 54, who is the founder of EbonyLife Media has been awarded an honorary degree by the University of Westminster in recognition of her outstanding services to broadcasting and enterprise in Nigeria.

The award, a ‘Doctor of Arts’ degree was presented to her during the university’s annual graduation ceremony at the prestigious Royal Festival Hall in London.

Abudu attended the school in 1993 where she got her master’s degree in Manpower Studies. She has gone on to build successful careers as a corporate executive and human resources entrepreneur.

Commenting on the award, Vice-Chancellor of the University, W Dr Peter Bonfield said:

‘Westminster University awards honorary degrees to those who have made outstanding contributions in their personal and professional lives’.

Mo Abudu also shared a post on her Instagram, where she thanked the institution for awarding her with the degree.

She said:

I would like to say a big ‘thank you’ to the University of Westminster for awarding me with an honorary degree of Doctor of Arts, in recognition of my  contributions to broadcasting and enterprise in Nigeria. My second honorary degree! 💃💃💃. It is really exciting to be recognised for doing what you love❤💕💖. I am so humbled and grateful.
Lord I remain Grateful and thankful in your presence always 🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️.
