Meghan Markle joined her husband Prince Harry on the first day of their Australian royal tour on Tuesday, October 16.
For the tour, she honored her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana wearing a pair of earrings and a bracelet which belonged to her.
Princess Diana wore the glittering butterfly earrings to an event in the Canadian city of Prince George in May 1986.
The bracelet seen on Meghan Markle was spotted in a picture of Princess Diana when she went on an outing to an elderly people’s home in Newham, east London, in 1990.
Princess Diana left her jewelry collection to her sons’ future wives, writing in a letter:
I would like you to allocate all my jewellery to the share to be held by my sons, so that their wives may, in due course, have it or use it.
