Janet Jackson‘s September 1993 Rolling Stone cover is still as iconic today as it was more than two decades ago. It’s so iconic and relevant that Balmain is recreating it for its Spring Summer 2019 campaign.
The original photo which was shot by Patrick Demarchelier featured a pair of hands (which we’ve now discovered belongs to the singer’s ex Rene Elizondo) covering Miss Jackson’s boobs.
The recreated version by Balmain features the brand’s creative director, Olivier Rousteing standing behind a topless Cara Delevingne with his hands cupping her boobs.
A while back, singer Teyana Taylor also recreated the iconic photo to pay tribute to the legendary singer.
