Samira Wiley who plays the loveable character, Poussey in Orange Is The New Black, got married to her girlfriend, Lauren Morelli yesterday in Palm Springs, California – same place where Lauren proposed to her last October.
The two were outfitted by Christian Siriano for their big day and they both looked ravishingly beautiful; Samira wearing an off-shoulder ball gown and Lauren, a jumpsuit featuring a cape.
Lauren and Samira had met on the set of the Netflix series where the former was a writer. She had split from her husband after discovering she was gay while writing for OITNB and had turned to Samira for comfort. They fell madly for each other in the process and now, they get to live happily ever after…hopefully.
