Photographer Remi Adetiba Shared The Coolest Photos From Waje’s Album Cover Shoot

In case you didn’t already know, singer Waje recently dropped an album called “Red Velvet” and it’s been getting all the deserved accolades from fans and music lovers.

While we still haven’t been able to press “PAUSE” or skip a track, we can’t help but drool over these super sexy photos from her album cover shoot by Remi Adetiba.

Sharing the photos, the famed photographer wrote:

When @officialwaje and I first discussed shooting material for her next album, I wanted to hear as many songs as possible in order to get a feel of the project. Yes, I’m a music junkie who‘ll finangle an unreleased track out of you by hook or crook, but it was actually important for me to properly capture the vibe of the album as a total body of work. I got an early taste of 6 songs, and this image kept coming to me as the spirit of the project. Like the album, I wanted to create something strong yet vulnerable, sexy and modern, yet with a classic refinement to it. This was the image in my head, and with the help of @artistry_by_tolani (makeup/styling), @bernardsmiless (hair) and @olubunmi_adetiba (photo assist) we executed it exactly as envisioned. While it didn’t end up the final album cover (not shot by me, but swipe for that so you know what to buy ????), I love that this shot ended up representing the track “Stupid.” It’s a favorite and was the most direct inspiration for the image
