Rihanna Is Hosting The 2018 Met Gala Alongside Amal Clooney & Donatella Versace

Rihanna is set to host the 2018 edition of Met Gala!

Having proven over the years that she’s the undefeated Queen of Met Gala, the Bajan singer and fashion connoisseur has been appointed as the host of the next edition of the event widely regarded as fashion’s biggest event alongside Amal Clooney and Donatella Versace.

Vogue, the official partner of the Met Gala, made the announcement on Wednesday whilst also revealing that the theme for the 2018 ball is “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.”

The theme, according to Vogue, seeks “to create a dialogue between fashion and the masterworks of religious art” and will include “papal garb on loan from the Sistine Chapel sacristy, many of which have never been seen outside the Vatican.”
