Rihanna showed up and showed out at the Met Gala 2018 like we knew she would.

And we didn’t realize just how much we needed a female pope until the Bajan beauty arrived the Metropolitan Museum of Arts looking breathtakingly gorgeous channeling Catholic royalty in a bejeweled mini dress worn under an equally bejeweled overcoat from Maison Margiela.

She paired the vestment with a bishop’s hat by Stephen Jones millinery and finished off with Christian Louboutin pumps.
