10-year-old girl, Kheris Rodgers, experienced constant bullying at school because of her skin tone and that affected her but only for a while.

In a bid to boost her confidence, her sister, Taylor Pollard posted pictures of her on social media which went viral with several positive comments about her skin color, hair and people sharing their bullying experience with her.

Kheris got inspired by the positive words and after seeing other chocolate girls like Lupita Nyong’o, she decided to create her own fashion line FlexinInMyComplexion which features T-shirts in different shades.

The brand is aimed at helping other girls around the world facing the same thing embrace their skin color and also help build their confidence.
