Toke Makinwa Is On Her “Chun Li” Vibe As She Covers The Latest Issue Of WOW Magazine

Toke Makinwa and stylist-turn-movie producer, Ifan Ifeanyi Michael are the cover stars for the latest issue of WOW Magazine.

In the interview, Toke shares details about her character in the much anticipated Foreigner’s God movie produced by Ifan.

Talking about how she felt when she was told about her role, Toke who plays a rape victim in the movie says she went through a range of emotions from doubt to fear and compassion but that she plans to give it her all and use her platform to change the narrative from “victim to courageous”.

For the cover, she was styled by Ifan and her hair whipped into a dramatic updo reminiscent of Nicki Minaj’s hairstyle for her hit song, Chun Li.
