#TweetLikeKaro, The Slay Queen Hashtag That Is Taking Over Twitter

Many of us know Karo Omu by the Twitter handle @duchesskk.

For some, she is the face of the battle to get pads to young women and girls who are unable to afford it, but to others?

She’s the perfect person to give your ‘fire’ photos a caption for social media platforms like Instagram and Twitter.

What started as a joke and a few laughs has caught on with a hashtag #TweetLikeKaro.

How did the hashtag start?

Karo is known for posting pictures of herself and sometimes her daughter with hilarious captions that she has made up.

And the rest of Twitter?

But Twitter wasn’t going to let her have all the fun alone. Young women have taken to posting their photos and coming up with creative ways to describe their beauty.

Of course with the accurate accompanying hashtag which was first used by Twitter user @AgentKole.

But even Karo caught onto the hashtag a little late:

Luckily, after she discovered it, she’s retweeted most with her followers.
