Sharon Ojong marked her 32nd birthday last weekend with the launch of her clothing brand named REKANA.

The event which took place at Ayo Van Elmar Rooftop Fashion Cafe, Oriental Hotel offered an exclusive preview of the label’s debut collection Rekanated to close friends and colleagues including Jane Michael Ekanem, Azuka Ogujiuba, Uche Odoh, Pearl Cardy, Akah Nnani, Kaylah Oniwo, Yolanda Okereke and more.

REKANA is starting as a ready-to-wear womenswear brand providing women with distinctive clothing in comfortable fabrics that are both functional, stylish and make a statement to the discerning eye. A clothing line that radiates ease, style, strength, signature, lifestyle and relevance.

Sharon who has worked in fashion as a muse, content creator, stylist and producer among other things says, “starting a clothing brand was a no-brainer for me. I’m so happy this dream is finally a reality.”
