Valentine’s Day has come early for Tua!
A 20-year-old Thai student Pilaslak Puenchoke has surprised her boyfriend Tua with a bouquet made of 100,000k baht ($3,145) for his birthday and Valentine’s Day combined after he asked her to just buy him ‘man things’ for the two occasions.
Pilaslak withdrew 100,000 baht and commissioned a florist to arrange them in the massive bouquet for her man.
She said: ‘It was all a big surprise for my boyfriend. He said he wasn’t too interested in expensive gifts, or fancy things. But he was just being kind. So I wanted to show him how special he is.’
‘He just said to buy him “man things”. I don’t know what that is, or what would make him happy because there is so much. I had the idea to do this,’ she added.
‘His friends were impressed. I think they would like their girlfriends to give them a similar gift. They said I’m the best girlfriend but it is just good fun.’
The 20-year-old who is a part-time makeup seller gave her boyfriend the early Valentine gift so it will coincide with his birthday on Wednesday.
