Virgil Abloh & Kanye West Shared An Emotional Moment At Louis Vuitton Show

Today Virgil Abloh debuted his first-ever Louis Vuitton collection at a Louis Vuitton show.

This comes after being named the fashion house’s artistic director of men’s wear in March this year.

All eyes were on the 37-year-old who is the first black artistic director for Louis Vuitton in the brand’s entire 164 years. Abloh, who first ventured into the fashion world interning at Fendi with his longtime creative collaborator and close friend Kanye.

At the end of the show “Ghost Town”  had a live instrumental rendition and Virgil walked straight out to Kanye for a long hug that clearly had both men emotional.

There were rumors that perhaps his appointment to the fashion house would upset Kanye or spark some kind of jealousy, but in an interview with Charlamagne Tha God, West said there were no hard feelings.

Kim, Kylie Jenner, and Travis Scott also sat front row for the show. Travis shared a video from his own angle of the emotional embrace.
