People Know Me More For My Outfits Than My Actual DJing – DJ Caise

Derin Phillips popularly known as DJ Caise has revealed that he may be more popular for his outfits than his music. According to the University of Reading graduate, his style became a regular feature of popular Nigerian blogs. He explained that his unique fashion designs, which have now become a trademark, came from his search for clothes that were simple and easy-to-wear.

The son of former Lagos commissioner, Teju Phillips also noted during on his interview on Accelerate TV’s Under The Influence that DJs tend to have longer lifespan than artistes in the music industry.

The Chocolate City DJ believes “talent will get you in the door but your attitude will get you to the top.”
