Over the weekend, several photos of Barack Obama – the 44th President of the United States of America – and kids were shared on Twitter in honour of him, his love for and inspiration of kids across the country and the world.

It all started after activist and entrepreneur Michael Skolnik wrote about an image of the President and a kid during a Black History Month event taken by White House chief photographer, Pete Souza, saying, ‘We’ll never truly be able to measure the impact that President Barack Obama has had on our children.’

Skolnik then encouraged others to share their favourite pictures of Obama with little kids using the hashtag #ObamaAndKids.

During his tenure as the first African-American to hold the office, he’s shared many cute moments with kids and has inspired a lot of young children across United States and the world.
