It’s another season for giving thanks and everyone is grateful for it for good reasons.
You get two whole days away from school and the office…
Plenty food and drinks…
…and then most of our friends are “available” to hang out during this period.
However, everyone looks forward to Sallah, even those who aren’t Muslims, because of one particular thing.
R. A. M.
On other days, this animal is considered annoying and insignificant. But during
Sallah, rams are like cake. Everyone wants a piece of them. As a matter of fact, the presence of a ram in every household is an indirect invitation to come and eat.
Don’t believe this?
Ask your Muslim friends. Most of them will tell you more people visit the house during this period.
They’ll also tell you that when people say these six (6) things during the holidays, this is what they truly mean.
But you see, our Muslim friends are forgiving. We don’t know about yours, but ours will unlook all our shortcomings and welcome us and our plastic packs for Jollof Rice and Ram Meat with open hands.
Happy Eid Everyone!
