The lockdown might almost be over but there are still a few restrictions here and there, asking us to be careful and stay home as much as possible. It’s not altogether a gloomy time, what is most important is to keep safe, hopeful and occupied as much as possible and DStv is here for you at all hours of the day with a mix of everything.

So, this weekend, here’s what you can look forward to:

On M-Net channel 101, its drama series, movies, reality shows and more. Evil is still fresh on the content list, it is about a sceptical female clinical psychologist who joins a priest-in-training and a blue-collar contractor as they investigate supposed miracles, demonic possession, and other extraordinary occurrences to see if there’s a scientific explanation or if something truly supernatural is at work. Catch new episodes on Wednesdays at 11:00 pm.

Still on M-Net channel 101 is Ugly Dolls. An uplifting animation, where a group of “ugly” dolls leave their home Uglyville and go into the world where they learn that they are different. They embark on a journey of self-love. Saturday, 2 May at 4pm.

1Magic channel 103 is packed with reality shows, international dramas and more. The Shop is a very manly show, it is an unscripted series which presents an unprecedented barbershop experience, which for many provides a sanctuary for spirited, free-flowing conversation with guests who speak honestly on sports, music, pop culture, and world events, among other culturally relevant topics. This airs Tuesdays at 9:00 pm

M-Net Movies Zone channel 139 brings you the celebrated animated movie Beowulf an all-star cast brings to life the tale of the legendary warrior as he takes on a great evil, featuring Angelina Jolie. Catch this captivating movie 30 April at 10:30 pm.

TNT channel 137 brings an amazing, The Pursuit of Happiness, based on a true story, a single father rises from extreme poverty and homelessness to become a successful stockbroker. Showing this Friday, 1 May at 7 pm.

M-Net City 115 has on its content line up MacGyver, a contemporary hero and role model, who applies his scientific knowledge to ordinary items to create a means of escape for himself and others from impending doom. Showing Thursday at 6 pm.

E! 124 the home of pop-culture, brings you The Funny Dance Show is back with a new episode. The next episode is titled Who let the dance out? It will show teams of comedians perform a series of comedic dance-offs for a panel of judges. This shows Monday, 4 April at 8:30pm.
