While we’re all for women loving their bodies, and being comfortable in their skin, we cannot ignore the fact that some outfits flatter some body types more than others.
So, it baffles me that when any attempt is made to talk about body flattering or unflattering outfits for the plus-size woman, it is so easily misconstrued as fat-shaming.

And you’ve just gotta admit that not everything looks good on you, regular or plus-size…Shame that I’m choosing to talk about plus-size women and bikinis, but it is what it is.
So here are 3 reasons why plus-size women should not wear bikinis.
- The idea of a two-piece swim wear, aka. bikini, is that the mid-section be bare. This automatically means that if your mid-section isn’t firm or in shape, you should steer clear. And there are options…
- Outfits are structured to make the wearer look better, and more often than not, the average bikini isn’t structured, which ends up making a plus-size woman appear fat.
- To be honest, it just don’t look good. Let’s throw away the sentiments shall we? Most times, plus-size women just don’t look good in bikinis, and when I say plus-size, I don’t mean hollywood’s definition i.e Ronda Rousey

Shallow person who missed the point completely. What “looks good” depends on who is looking. No one cares what her brainwashed opinion of attractiveness is!
