Good Stuff! Nike Is Launching A Hijab Collection For Muslim Women Athletes

The fashion world is embracing diversity like never before and Nike is one of the brands at the forefront of this change.

The sportswear giant is all set to launch a new hijab collection specially designed for athletic muslim women.

The head wrap which they’re calling the Nike Pro Hijab will come in dark and neutral colours.

Made from a sportswear mesh fabric which features tiny holes to make breathing easy, the pro hijab is already being worn by Emirati figure skater, Zahra Lari who shared her excitement about the new product in a statement writing,”I was thrilled and a bit emotional to see Nike prototyping a Hijab. I’ve tried so many different hijabs for performance, and … so few of them actually work for me. But once I put it on and took it for a spin on the ice, I was blown away by the fit and the light weight.”

The high performance hijab will go on sell with the company’ Spring 2018 wares.
