Balenciaga had a go at making the rubber shoes chic by turning them into gem-encrusted platforms. And that kind of worked, they even sort of looked quite cool. But Crocs are now selling high heels and they look absolutely horrendous.

We’ll probably see these heels being picked up by some massive fashion house next season. Those Balenciaga platforms are going on Net-A-Porter for over £650 a pair, so just imagine what would happen if Chanel decided that Croc heels were the next big thing?
