Njideka Akabogu
Alexandre Vauthier‘s debut show at the Grand Palais was sporty, sexy and ultra chic.
The designer did away with the flare and tons of fabric that usually characterises couture opting instead to keep thing practical and very wearable.
The colour palette for the couture spring 2017 collection was red, white, blue, silver and black with features like puffy sleeves, asymmetrical hems and flowing trains characterising the chic pieces.
The show was opened by Bella Hadid who was joined by Nigerian model, Mayowa Nicholas and Kendall Jenner amongst others.
