It’s only a few days until Unoaku Anyadike hands over her MBGN crown which she has held for 2 years since she got crowned in 2015, and the beauty queen isn’t about leaving without letting us know that she’s a true beauty – with makeup or without.
The 22-year-old who turns 23 on Saturday posed sans makeup for photographer Rani Tahouf and the images are refreshing.
She wrote:
Counting down to my 23rd birthday and the end of one of the most beautiful journeys I experienced in the last two years. I can only say GOD has been faithful and I am so grateful. Thank you to everyone who loved, cared and supported through out this journey, one way or the other, the love was too real. As one chapter ends a new one begins. If you can think it, you can do it because God never fails when you put him first. ???????? Always remember that true beauty comes from within, spread love always.

It was such a pleasure shooting the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria @unoaku.anyadike . What an honour, the crazy part about these set of images is she did not wear any makeup. This was just her in her element, for this shoot I wanted to capture her in a different light from what you normally see in magazines and posters. Tbh I feel the regular beauty queen image is kind of basic, I wanted something elegant, natural and a bit sexy at the same time. I would love to see a time where people are confident to look and feel this amazing without the numerous layers of makeup (not to discredit the amazing work a lot of MUA’s do)
