Netflix has announced it is cancelling it’s television series ‘House of Cards’ amid sexual allegations against Kevin Spacey.
Anthony Rapp made the allegations during an interview and Kevin responded with an apology saying he doesn’t recall the event.
A statement was released by Netflix and Media House Capital saying they were deeply bothered by the news.
“In response to last night’s revelations, executives from both of our companies arrived in Baltimore this afternoon to meet with our cast and crew to ensure that they continue to feel safe and supported. As previously scheduled, Kevin Spacey is not working on set at this time.”
According to Guardian, Netflix confirmed that the decision to end the series has nothing to do with Kevin’s sexual allegation and they decided to end it months ago.
