Nigerian producer Babatunde Okungbowa, known professionally as OJB Jezreel, is dead.
The singer-producer who still granted an interview to Thenetng on Sunday June 12, ahead of his 50th birthday on July 4, died this morning in Lagos at the age of 49.
According to sources, OJB had been in and out of hospital since having a kidney replacement on October 21, 2013.
OJB who is mostly remembered for his work with popular musicians such as Oxygen, Paul Play, Ruggedman, X-Appeal, Jazzman, 2face Idibia, and many others, is survived by three wives and eight children.
His death comes after the nation has lost Football coaches Stephen Keshi, Amodu Shuaibu, Nollywood actress Henrietta Kosoko, and OJB’s friend Nomoreloss.
