Over 300 Movies Later, Omotola Continues To Rule Nollywood

Bagging decades of acting experience, popular Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde has appeared in over 300 films, selling millions of video copies in the last 25 years.

Omotola Jalade Ekeinde MFR is a Nigerian actress, singer, former model, and philanthropist. Omotola is one of the pioneers of the video film era of Nigerian cinema, becoming one of the most watched actresses in Africa.

Giving credence to her popularity and influence in the world of filmmaking, she was honoured in Time magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people in the world alongside Michelle Obama, Beyoncé and Kate Middleton in 2013.

In Azuh Arinze’s book, Success Is Not Served A La Carte, Omotola Jalade’s giant strides are documented.
