The full list of the girls contesting in this year’s Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant was recently released and about 21 out of the 37 contestants are Igbos – a fact that didn’t go unnoticed by the very observant Nigerian Twitter.
Quite a number of people have voiced their displeasure about Igbo girls representing non-Igbo states in the contest, even though this wouldn’t be the first time this would be happening.
