The Best Dressed Nigerians Of 2018

What qualifies anyone for a spot on the best dressed list?

For Edwin Okolo, editor at September Standard and Y!Naija, a best dressed person is someone who is able to take a piece or style and make it their own.

Style Consultant Madame Modish looks for appropriateness – someone who dresses for a cocktail party like a cocktail party.

And for fashion blogger/dressmaker, Olivia Arukwe, it is not just about the clothes. Everything from the hair to the makeup to the shoes have to be right. And you have to be consistent with it.

These three fashion enthusiasts, along with singer/stylist Waye, were the panelists on the very first edition of 234Star’s Fashion Roundtable where we reviewed the defining moments in fashion in Nigeria this year, as well as the best and worst dressed Nigerians in the year under review.

The aim was to have a very honest, no-holds-barred conversation and from what you’ll see in the first part of the show – The Best Dressed List – we did that.
