Tiffany Haddish Doesn’t Come With A Filter & She’s Not Sorry About It

You can always count on Tiffany Haddish to be brutally honest and the actress has said she isn’t sorry about it.

“Sorry I’m so honest, but I’m not sorry”, the actress said while receiving an award during the Variety’s Power of Women luncheon.

The Girls’ Trip star said, “I feel like it’s very important to always be your best self and be yourself, and try not to be something you’re not because that’s when you become a bitter-ass bitch, when you being somebody you not.”

She also went on to narrate how she felt unsafe and “afraid to be herself” growing up, and it was thanks to mentors who encouraged her to express herself that she embraced performing arts. This in turn led her to work with organizations in empowering children from underserved communities.

Other honorees at the luncheon were, Natalie Portman, Regina King, Lena Waithe and Emma Gonzalez.
