First Photos of Celine Dion in Public Since Rene Angelil’s Death

Celine Dion made her first public appearance since her husband René Angélil’s death yesterday, January 20.

Dressed in all-black, the singer was spotted at the Las Vegas Airport before boarding a private jet with her three children (14-year-oldRené-Charles, and 5-year-old twins Eddy and Nelson), and she’s headed to Montreal, where René’s funeral will take place, MailOnline reports.

René lost his life on January 14, following a battle with throat cancer, and his family and friends will gather to pay their tributes at the Notre-Dame Basilica in Montreal tomorrow, January 22, 2016.

Her brother, Daniel Dion who also died of cancer on Saturday, January 16, will have his memorial at the Salon Charles Rajotte in Repentigny, Quebec on Saturday, January 23, 2016.
