14-Year-Old Model Dies Of Exhaustion After Working For Hours

A 14-year-old model, Vlada Dzyuba has reportedly died in a Chinese hospital after a 13-hour modeling shoot as a result of severe exhaustion.

Vlada fell into a coma after walking in a show at Shanghai Fashion Week and was rushed to hospital where she died.

Reports says she was making $8 a day for her catwalk appearances but she had to cover her own airfare, food, lodges expenses.

According to The Sun, Vlada missed school to work on catwalks on a ‘three month contract’ so she can fulfill her dream of becoming a super model.

While her preliminary cause of death is said to be meningitis compounded with severe exhaustion, new account of her death says she died from “septicopyemia” –blood poisoning with “multiple visceral organs damaged, liver dysfunction and renal insufficiency.”

Before she went into a coma, her mother said she called her and told her that she was exhausted.

“She was calling me, saying Mama, I am so tired. I so much want to sleep, It must have been the very beginning of the illness and then her temperature shot up.I didn’t sleep myself and was calling her constantly, begging her to go to hospital.”
