5 Quick Life Enhancing Questions To Reset Your Life

Life as they say is what you make of it. Life as they say is what you choose to believe. Life as they say is a mindset. Life is this, life is that.

And with those things said about life, one undeniable truth that is not so desirable yet inevitable is – there are highs and lows in life. Even the most spiritual are not completely spared of this harsh truth.

We are now in the month of May 2017 and just in case you are beating yourself up and wondering what happened to your goals. Chill. Nothing supernatural or inexplainable happened. Life simply happened. At some point in time it happens to all unfailingly. And thank God, it is never the end of anyone whenever it happens. So cheer up!

It is important to also note that when we say life happened. It does not exclude positive things or events. Without the positives, the “high and low” in life claim will be untrue.

So now that things seem like the aftermath of Heroshima in your life. Don’t fret. Ask this 9 life enhancing questions. They are capable to shake you back to focus, moving and living.

1 – Why am I worrying?
You know what they say about worrying. When you worry, it is like sitting on a rocking chair that gives you an illusion of movement whereas in fact, it is not moving. It is bad already and what you are truly looking at is moving on. Once you realize this and ask yourself why you are worrying. You will realize your focus is on the wrong side.

2 – Are my thoughts hurting or healing me?
Your situation may endanger your life and limbs, but only your thoughts can endanger your focus. Telling yourself a miserable mental story about your circumstances creates suffering. But telling yourself a more positive and grateful story increases happiness and focus. So be honest and ask yourself what kind of thoughts are you having.

3 – Where am I wrong?

The surprising truth about accountability and responsibility is that it gives self power rather than taking it. As Socrates believed, we gain our first measure of intelligence when we first admit our own ignorance. Ask and get clear with where you missed it and focus is received.

4 – Is this what I want to be doing?

It is possible you are not doing what you would truly love to do or be or have. So ask yourself many times if you love or even like what you are doing. This very moment is, always, the only moment in which you can make changes and start living again.

5 – How much junk could I chuck, if I could chuck junk?

The great Lao Tzu wrote, “To become learned, each day add something. To become enlightened, each day drop something.” Face it; you would be better off without some of your relationships, many of your possessions, and most of your thoughts. Chuck your junk and make room for something more.

Now get up, get asking yourself and get moving. June, July, August and rest of the year awaits you to live gloriously.
