Ebuka Obi-Uchendu always serves looks. Whether it’s as a guest or as a host for a show, he makes sure to represent in style and class. It was no different for the BBNaija All Stars as he wore a range of outfits from traditional attires to black tie-inspired outfits as he geared to crown the ultimate All Star.
Like every other season, the Ebuka x Mai Atafo combination made it to the centre stage with uniquely designed outfits and well-tailored suits that were in theme with pop culture trends. Particularly, his spray-painted outfit to the BBNaija All Stars finals that crowned Ilebaye Odiniya the winner has caught the attention of many.
Although Ebuka has built a fashion chemistry with every designer he works with, Mai Atafo’s creations seem to stand out the best with eye-catching and adventurous fashion pieces.
Here is 234star’s top 5 Ebuka x Mai Atafo looks.
The Renaissance Look
Whether you love Beyonce or not, everyone knows that metallic silver has been renamed after Beyonce’s Renaissance tour as her concerts this year have become not only a place to enjoy Beyonce’s unrivalled showmanship but a place to showcase how creative you can be with your outfit. The colour that defined that was ‘metallic silver.’
For this live show, Ebuka channelled the American Ivy aesthetic as he paired the corporate look with a metallic silver bomber jacket and accentuated the outfit with an orange tie. He completed the aesthetic with a custom-made face cap from Atafo.
Ebuka In Barbie Pink
It was Barbie’s season in August, and it was only appropriate that Ebuka was dressed in a graded pink single-button suit paired with the $1,295 limited edition Dandyflor Christian Louboutin loafers, which were created in partnership with actress Rossy De Palma.
The Yellow Suit
Speaking of well-tailoured suits, the double-breasted yellow suit he wore for the third live show had everyone talking. From the stacked pearl necklaces to his choice of footwear and the overall carriage, everything was just done right.
The Finale Traditional Attire
Ebuka never fails to infuse different cultural aesthetics into his style. In celebration of Nigeria’s independence, he wore a blend of cultural attires as he paired the textured agbada with a silk senator and a red wrapper. He completed the look with a red cap from the Igbos, which represents authority, culture and tradition.
A Splash of Gen-Z
We love a good suit moment, but what happens when a suit is spray painted and accessorised with a knitted beanie hat, we have a classic outfit with a splash of Gen-Z aesthetic, and that’s what Ebuka brought to the finale with his last outfit as he crowned the Gen-Z Baddie, Ilebaye Odiniya, the winner of the All Stars Season.
