Top 5 Looks From Ebuka Obi-Uchendu On The First-Ever Season Of BBTitans

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu is known for his out-of-the-box looks, he particularly brings this diversity in outfits to his role as the host of Africa’s leading reality TV show, Big Brother Naija. However, this time, he had to host Big Brother Titans – a show combining South African and Nigerian housemates – alongside BBMzansi’s host Lawrence Maleka.

Week in week out, we see Ebuka in outfits that showcase the diversity of Nigerian cultures, while in some weeks, he infuses elements of streetwear into his outfits, while giving live guides on how to style prints and look good in them.

As the season comes to an end, here are five of his most outstanding looks from the first-ever season of BBTitans.

For the last eviction night, Ebuka rocked a Kemeje outfit designed by Ugo Monye. The Kemeje design, which is an Itsekiri-inspired outfit, was reinvented with contemporary elements as Monye combined a long-sleeved shirt with a George wrapper tied around his waist. One outstanding element of the outfit was the use of patterns, cuts, prints, and traditional materials.

One thing Ugo Monye knows how to do best is infusing contemporary attributes with African culture to create timeless pieces. This time he did it with his latest collection, Konipari. Ebuka had rocked one of its pieces to the live eviction show as he paired the hooded agbada with gold bracelets and simple black pants. All he needed to make a fashion statement was in the attire.

Ebuka In Atafo Velvet Suit

Atafo is the go-to designer for well-tailored suits. For years, the designer has styled Ebuka for his hosting duties. It’s no different for this season of BBTitans. For the live show, he wore a silk velvet double-breasted suit with organza and velvet ribbed sleeves paired with oversized drawstring trousers.

Ebuka took his accessories to a whole new level as he wore a drop diamond necklace and ring from Diamonds Eternal Jewellers.

In another Atafo suit, Ebuka gave live styling tips as he paired the marble-patterned double-breasted jacket with similar pants of the same material while wearing a shirt of the same material and pairing the overall look with a black tie and black accessories.

Simple lesson: when styling patterns on patterns, it’s either you go all out and wear the same patterns throughout your outfit or pick a particular pattern and style your outfit around them.

Simple yet elegant, that is the best way to describe Vansekere’s designs. Picking from his usual pool of designers, Ebuka wore a custom Vanskere multicoloured geometric patterned suit. He paired the outfit with the Louis Vuitton Monogram LV Resort Sneakers in white.
