Burna Boy and Jean Paul Gaultier Collaborate For ‘Love Damini’ Eyewear

Burna Boy has always been very intentional with his style. From rocking unique fashion pieces no Nigerian artiste would dare try, to finally collaborating with a luxury designer for his first fashion collab, the music star is slowly working his way into the fashion world. Jean Paul Gaultier (JPG) marks the official start of this journey.

On 20 May 2023, the music with the Gautlier house teased the drop of his first eyewear at a pre-party for The Outsiders at its Parisian headquarters before he made history at the 40,000-capacity concert at La Défense arena.

The limited-edition sunglasses that draws inspiration straight from the 90s employs the expertise of JPG’s creative director, Florence Tetier, London-based photographer Marcin Kempski, Ronami Ogulu’s styling, and Daughter of Lama’s Set Design to set the mood for the perfect 90s reimagination.

With Gaultier imprints, heart-shaped Love Damini reference, red and purple lenses, and 90s oval-shaped frames, the glasses seem like the perfect addition to a 90s enthusiast’s accessory collection.
