Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, the award-winning author, eminent feminist and queen of our lives never misses an opportunity to talk about feminism, and in her most recent interview, she went even further to break it down in simpler and more relatable terms, and most importantly, in a language every Nigerian understands – pidgin.

Speaking to BBC Pidgin about what Feminism actually means, the author said,

 

every woman wey dem born for this world dey equal to every man.

na the people wey no want make women equal na dem talk say feminist na person wey wan kill man and i no too get time for that kain argument because I want make we beging dey talk about real things…’
