After the finale of Gulder Ultimate Search Season 12 and the emergence of Odudu Imeh Otu as the winner, Gulder presented the awards at a prestigious coronation party on Friday, February 22, 2022.
At Cilantro in Victoria Island, the event gathered several industry favourites to commemorate and crown the show’s winner. The ambience and decor represented a touch of the jungle with beautiful green ornamental plants. Guests trooped in, ready to vibe and support their favourite contestants to the end.
Celebrity hypeman and self-titled energy gad Do2dtun first came on stage to pump the crowd full of energy. Dressed in a camouflage ensemble with matching combat boots, Do2dtun swaggered through the crowd to get the audience in the right mood to kick off the event.
The host of the night was none other than stylish celebrity actor Gideon Okeke who showed up to the stage looking as classy as ever in a simple well-fitted grey suit.
When rising singer Buju got on stage, the crowd went wild. He delivered all his best tunes while the audience sang along. Though his session was short, it was enough to keep the audience in high spirits and ready for the next agenda.
After Buju’s amazing performance, Gideon Okeke got back on stage to introduce the night’s awardees. As each contestant stepped up to the stage to accept their various awards, the night’s crowning moment was Odudu receiving his prize, seated on a pedestal.
Dressed in a classic black shirt over black pants and a patterned jacket, Odudu embodied the presence of a winner. He received a cash reward of ₦20 million, a paid trip to Dubai and a car courtesy of Innoson motors.
The coronation party ended on a high with guests eager to get to the after-party. With the champion crowned and celebrated, fans and supporters cannot wait to see what his next steps will be.
