Football superstar, Lionel Messi and his childhood sweetheart, Antonelle Rocuzzo got married at a lavish star-studded wedding ceremony in the footballer’s hometown of Rosario, Santa Fe in Argentina last night.

The newlyweds who have two sons together have known each other since they were 5 and have been going strong ever since they started dating.

For their big day, Messi, 30 looked dapper in an Armani suit while the bride was the true belle of the ball in a stunning custom gown by Rosa Clara.

The wedding was attended by quite a number of Messi’s footballer friends and their spouses. Samuel Etoo, Xavi Hernandez, Cesc Fàbregas, Carles Puyol, Gerard Pique and Shakira were some of the famous faces at the event.
