Shimmers, Silk & Turban: Abaya Lagos’ Arabian-Themed Collection At ARISE Fashion Week 2018

Modest fashion doesn’t have to be boring. That was a statement Abaya Lagos made loud and clear with her ultra-chic Arabian-inspired collection on day 1 of the ongoing ARISE Fashion Week.

The label draped models in the most exquisite pieces: a hooded kimono, a flowing silk abaya that seamlessly glided down the catwalk. There was the structured kimono and jacket coord that immediately shot up to the top of my must-have list.

And the details were just as lush. The exaggerated sleeves, the metallic detailings, the gorgeous headwraps, the oversized sunshades; everything came together so well to make for a beautiful collection.
