Lanre DaSilva Ajayi is a personal fave – one of those designers that hardly ever do any wrong in my eyes. But it’s not hard to see why I feel this way about her. LDA is brilliant.
With her new collection, she married elegance and sassiness like only her can. From the moment her show was opened by Naomi Campbell in a stunning gold dress that featured layers on layers of fringe to Oluchi‘s eye-popping closing dress, the collection was sheer brilliance.
The gold spangled fabrics, fringe details, sheer panels all came together so well to re-enforce what we already knew: LDA is simply in a class of her own.
There’s absolutely nothing I’d change about this collection. Matter of fact, I want every piece in it!
